How do I get started with AiRingDesk? +
Sign up at airingdesk.com, choose your plan, pick a UK or international phone number, write your AI prompt (we have templates), and you're live. Most businesses complete setup in under 10 minutes.
How do I write an effective AI prompt? +
Include: your business name, what you do, your opening hours, your FAQs (top 5-10 questions callers ask), and how you want calls handled. The more detail you provide, the better Aria performs. We provide templates for each industry in your dashboard.
How do I upgrade or change my plan? +
Go to Dashboard → Billing → and click "Upgrade Plan". Changes take effect immediately. You'll be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing period.
How do I cancel my subscription? +
Go to Dashboard → Billing → Cancel Subscription. Your service will remain active until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees.
How do I change Aria's voice or name? +
Go to Dashboard → AI Settings. You can change the AI name, update the script, set transfer numbers for different departments, and adjust the greeting. Changes take effect on the next call.
Can I port my existing number to AiRingDesk? +
Yes. You can port your existing number via Twilio, or you can forward calls from your existing number to your AiRingDesk number — which works immediately without any porting process.
How long are call recordings and transcripts stored? +
Call recordings and transcripts are stored for 90 days by default. You can view all calls in Dashboard → Call Logs. Export functionality is coming soon.
Do I need to tell callers they're being recorded? +
Under UK law (RIPA), if you're recording calls for business purposes, you should notify callers. We recommend adding a recording notice to Aria's greeting. You can do this in Dashboard → AI Settings → Greeting. AiRingDesk provides tools to make this easy.
What happens if Aria can't answer a question? +
If Aria encounters a question outside her training, she'll politely take a message and ensure the caller gets a callback. She'll never guess or make up information — she's designed to be honest about what she doesn't know.
How do I set up call transfers? +
Go to Dashboard → AI Settings → Transfer Numbers. Add phone numbers for each department (Sales, Support, Billing, Manager, General). Aria will automatically detect when a caller needs a human and transfer to the right department.
